Those students who are interested in the program must complete an application packer, and must be an ethnic minority as defined by the U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission. This includes African Americans, Hispanics, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, and Native Americans. Only completed packers received on or before (9 June 2017) will be considered.

Deadline: June 15, 2017 at 11:59 pm. Criteria * eligibility: (1) be a high school senior, (2) resident of Bexar County, (3) have at least a 3.0 GPA, (4) applicant must demonstrate and explain community involvement.

The scholarship application must be submitted, in full, by December 31, 2017. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Applications for the scholarship can be submitted by any high school senior or high school graduate nationwide in the United States. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. This scholarship is a one-time award worth $500.

An applicant must: (1) be either currently enrolled or accepted to a univerisity in the U.S., (2) be able to provide an official school transcript or acceptance letter verifying their enrollment, and (3) write an essay explaining their plans for their education. Amount: $1,000. Application deadline: August 1, 2017.
