Colleges & Universities
Many students know what college they want to attend and what major to decide on, but for some there is more research involved. In the CCC, you are able to research about colleges you might be interested in as well as particular majors that catch your interest. Throughout the year there are many college representatives that visit our campus and educate us about their particular school. There are also many books in the CCC that contain that same information if you are unable to visit with those college representatives during your lunch period.
How to Apply
Applying to all Texas public colleges, plus some private universities and two-year universities can all be done on www.applytexas.org. An application fee may apply when submitting your application to universities. The fee amount varies per school.
ApplyTexas has updated the essay prompts. Each college/univeristy has different deadlines and essay prompt requirements.
The Common App can be used for most public and private colleges and universites. For out of state colleges and universities, visit the school's website or go to www.commonapp.org. An application fee may apply when submitting your application to universities. The fee amount varies per school.
